These days Hindus all around the world are leading in the celebration of a very special and beautiful event known as Festival of Lights. Deepavali in Southern India and Diwali in Northern, the festival celebrates triumph of good against evil, purity over impurity and light over darkness.
This great event starts on the darkest night (new moon) in the month of Kartik and continues for five days, with each day having their own separate and very important context and meaning.
On the first day people clean their houses to be able to welcome wealth and prosperity to their houses. The first day is a lucky day for honouring the goddess of wealth Lakshmi via buying luxury and artistic goods and charity. The second day is about clean slate, when people wash their clothes and get rid of everything old and evil in their life. On the third day, the most important one, celebratory lights are lit to commemorate victory of good against evil. The fourth day is about feasting and sharing the food with the loved ones and the fifth day is a very special celebration of relationships between brothers and sisters.
Last one is especially dear to our heart as our company is family one. The love, respect and devotion in the family amongst parents and children, brothers and sisters as well as attraction to artistic beauty is always driving us forward.
Let’s join in with this gorgeous event and light our candles and lamps of hope, love and beauty with millions celebrating this festival in India, Kenya, Malaysia, Mauritius, Singapore, Suriname, Sri Lanka and many other countries around the world. Let’s use this opportunity to say another “I love you” to our families and friends.
